Beam Me is a cool web thingy we came across when booking a flight. At the end of the booking, the site came up with a little popup box with the option to send the details of the confirmation to my mobile. Great idea, just popped my mobile number in and there all the info was for the flight. Handy little ditty to have I must say.

You could use it to send clients and users of your website something basic like contact details. Maybe upcoming dates of calendar events, seminars etc. Blackmores used it to link into a promotion they were having online. Vibe hotels use it to send contact details and hotel locations to clients phones and of course Flight Centre use it to send flight itineraries.

As long as you have access to your site, it is a quick an easy process of setting up and account and filling out the online wizard. It then outputs code and you pop it into your site. Tada!
